Hello, and a warm welcome to all our Infant families! I am so excited to be the lead teacher of the Infant Program. Considering that, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.
My name is Lisa, I have worked at Country Dawn since 2017 in our Infant room and absolutely love it! This job has been so rewarding and given me so much joy over the years. I am married to my husband Bob and together we have four children and six grandchildren. I love spending time with my family. We all try to go hiking, at least a couple times a year, as everyone's schedules allow. We also get together twice a month for a barbeque at my house. My family is especially important to me.
So again, I would like to welcome you and let you know that we are excited to have your little ones in our classroom. I am looking forward to watching them grow and develop while they are in our class. Please feel free to email me at countrydawnlisa@gmail.com or message me through ProCare with any questions or concerns you may have.
Sincerely,
Ms. Lisa
Infant Program Teacher
Country Dawn provides help to your child on a number of skills throughout the year. We will do a lot of practicing when it comes to tummy time, rolling over, sitting up, pulling up and eventually walking. We like to get creative, so every month we will have a different project and an activity involving painting and coloring. Throughout the day we will read books and sing songs. As they start being more independent and moving around more on their own, during the spring and summer we have outside play, weather permitting. We play an array of nursery rhyme music as well as music from different cultures to incorporate diversity in the classroom.
